This was a simple interview style setup that we repeated with slight variation in different parts of the location. My natural instinct is to always key-light faces from the side, but I wanted to experiment with a more ambient and directionless light on the face. I went with the Aputure 600C with the 3’ Light dome as a frontal beauty light; with supplemental side-fill light from a 12x12 book light, and a bounce board that was right under the lens. I also had the 5’ Light dome as a toppy backlight that helped to activate the bounce board.

I wanted to bring some character to this location, so I went with the Ancient optics Petzvalux lenses. I ended up shooting everything on the 38mm and the 80mm.
